Getting a PAC Website Account
Accounts for the PAC website are available to members of the church. If you would like an account and are a member of Penshurst Anglican Church, contact us and let us know.
Member Access
Once you have a PAC website account, you will be able to access information which is more useful to members than visitors. Some member information is for all PAC members, such as the Calendar of Events. Other information is for specific groups such as the Sunday School Teachers or members of a particular Cell Group. Note that many Calendar Events are announced publicly on the homepage as well.
Login Problems
In order to log in to the PAC website, your browser must accept cookies. The rest of this page explains how to modify cookie settings on Internet Explorer 6. If you can supply information which supports other browsers, please submit it via our feedback form. Without being too technical, a cookie is a file which a website stores on your computer. Cookie Settings - Internet Explorer 6 Click on the Tools Menu > Internet Options... > then the Privacy tab - Here you can use the vertical slider to choose the lowest setting ("Accept All Cookies"). This will cause Internet Explorer to accept cookies from any website which tries to send you one.
- If you are not happy to lower your setting, you can click on the "Edit..." button and Allow access to the site: www.penshurstanglican.org
- One final alternative is to click the "Advanced..." button to "override automatic cookie handling" and choose for Internet Explorer to "Prompt" you when handling "Third party cookies". Using this option means that Internet Explorer will prompt you when the PAC website (and others) wants to store a cookie on your computer.
